Ingredients
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Parmesan cheese (approx. 40–50 g), grated
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Trim or peel the tough outer layer of the asparagus using a vegetable peeler to ensure a tender texture. Very fresh asparagus may not require peeling.
- Toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Arrange in a baking dish and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until the top is golden and lightly crisp.
Note
This dish can be served as a flavorful side with meat, fish, or chicken.
