Sautéed Asparagus with Mushrooms and Cream

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of Sardeon asparagus
  • 200 grams of mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup of cream
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Freshly chopped parsley (optional for serving)

Instructions

  • Cut off the ends of the asparagus stalks and cut into thin slices.
  • Slice the mushrooms.
  • Heat the butter or olive oil in a pan.
  • Add the thinly sliced garlic and sauté until fragrant but not burnt.
  • Add the mushrooms and sauté until soft.
  • Once the mushrooms have softened, add the asparagus slices and sauté lightly.
  • Add the cream and stir until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Cook until the cream is slightly thickened.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
  • Serve hot.
