Steaming
Place in a steamer strainer over salted boiling water, close the lid and steam until tender.
Boiling
Boil in a little salted water until tender.
Baking
Place the asparagus in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil and bake in an oven preheated to 220°C until tender. You can season it with Parmesan and garlic.
You can also cook it on the oven rack using the oven's grill function. You can season it with olive oil, salt and black pepper.
On the Grill or BBQ
Place the asparagus on the grill and cook for two minutes on each side to roast them evenly.
Sauté
Sauté in some oil in a bowl over medium heat on the stove. Stir constantly so that it does not burn. You can season it with spices.
Microwave
Place in a microwave-safe container and add some water. Cook on medium-high setting.
Raw
You can also eat asparagus raw without cooking. You can serve it alongside dipping sauces.
