Ingredients
- 500 grams of asparagus
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 6-7 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 heaped tablespoons of flour
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 cups of water
- Black Pepper
- Salt
Instructions
We start by sautéing our onion and when it turns brown, we add our flour and stir it for a while.
Once the flour becomes fragrant, we add warm milk and warm water. We mix the flour with water using a hand whisk. (The water should be neither boiling nor cold so that the flour does not form lumps)
Lastly, we add our asparagus and leave the soup to simmer. By the way, black pepper goes really well with this soup.
