Creamy Asparagus Pasta

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of pasta
  • 1 onion
  • 500 grams of green asparagus
  • 250 grams of mushrooms
  • 400 milliliters of heavy cream
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  • Boil the pasta and drain it. Heat the oil in a pan.
  • Chop the onion and fry until it turns brown.
  • Chop the asparagus into 2 cm long pieces, discard the stiff parts.
  • Add them to the pan and fry for about 5 minutes. Chop and add the mushrooms and fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper. Add the cream and let it boil for 5 minutes over low heat with the lid closed.
  • The cream will thicken. Add the pasta and mix thoroughly.
  • Turn off the heat and set the dish aside to rest for 10 minutes.
