Baked Asparagus and Spicy Chicken Drumstick

Check out our recipe that combines the natural flavor of oven-baked Sardeon asparagus and the aroma of spicy chicken drumsticks.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of Sardeon asparagus
  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Lemon slices (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Cut off the ends of the asparagus stalks.
  • Place the asparagus on a baking sheet.
  • In another bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Soak the chicken drumsticks thoroughly with this mixture and place them on the tray next to the asparagus.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and keep it in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken drumsticks are fully cooked. Flip the chicken drumsticks after 20 minutes.
  • After cooking, place them on a serving plate and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
