Asparagus Chicken with Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 250 grams of chicken breast
  • 5-6 sprigs of asparagus
  • Olive oil
  • Half a handful of almonds
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • Half a teaspoon of powdered ginger (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • A quarter slice of lemon

Instructions

  • First, put some olive oil in the pan and cut the almonds in half and sauté them.
  • Then chop the asparagus and add them into the almonds and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Chop the garlic finely and add it over the asparagus.
  • Add the ginger and sauté for 2 more minutes.
  • You can skip adding ginger if you want. Put the sautéed ingredients onto a separate plate.
  • Add olive oil to the pan once again and sauté the chicken over high heat.
  • Add the asparagus to the sautéed chicken, then add all the spices and squeeze some lemon.
  • Sauté for 2 more minutes and turn off the heat. You can dip it in mayonnaise, or you can eat it as it is.
